Step-by-step guide on how to become an Associate Safety Professional (ASP)
A bachelor’s degree: You need a bachelor’s degree in any field or an associate degree in safety, health or environment.
- The associate degree should include at least four courses with 12 semester hours/18 quarter hours of study in the safety, health, or environment field.
Work experience: At least one year of professional safety experience where at least 50% of your job involves safety duties like safety program management.
Pass the ASP exam: After meeting the education and experience requirements, apply for and pass the Associate Safety Professional (ASP) exam.

Exam Details
To obtain the Associate Safety Professional (ASP) certification, you need to pass an exam administered by the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP).

- The total duration of the course is 50 hours. We provide two types of batches.
- The weekend batch is on Sunday, from 7.30 PM IST to 11.30 AM IST.
- The program is held for 4 hours each Sunday over 12 to 14 sessions, spanning 3 to 4 months.
- The weekday batch is on Tuesday and Thursday, from 7.30 PM IST to 10.30 PM IST.
- The program runs 4 hours every Sunday over 12 to 14 weeks, lasting a total of 3 to 4 months.
